Mat & Equipment Pilates, Swimming and PE Teacher,
Netball Coach
Pilates Background
From first experiencing Pilates when I was 17 and discovering the wonders of the method for myself, I was keen to know more. I begun my teaching career in Matwork under the Michael King Method in 2014, but have since gone on to pursue further interests in the field, with Body Control Pilates CPDs, such as Pre-and Postnatal Pilates, Pilates for MS and Parkinsons, Pilates for Children and Adolescents, Pilates for Equestrians and Common Orthopaedic Conditions with Future Fit. I qualified as a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher with Evolve Movement Education in 2018.
I have had the pleasure of teaching clients from as young as 6 to 89 years old. Throughout my time as a teacher, I have worked around the Wealden area teaching in studios such as Turning Tide Pilates and Pilates in Lewes, alongside gyms such as Gover in Broad Oak and East Sussex National. I have delivered sessions at the stunning location for Hillside Wellness and worked with sports clubs such as Beacon Swimming Club to further support their athletes.
Swimming Background
I qualified as a L2 swimming teacher with Swim England in 2015. I have since worked with local swim schools such as Freedom Leisure Uckfield and Heathfield Swim School, alongside delivering private swim lessons based at clients homes.
I have taught swimmers as young as 2 years old through to adult learners, and have many years experience working with complete beginners and nervous swimmers to those who are experienced swimmers looking to improve technique.
Netball Background
I have played netball since I was 6 years old. Having a genuine love of the sport I decided to take the next step into coaching, qualifying as a L2 netball coach in 2022 with England Netball, having spent several years prior as a volunteer and assistant coach. I have since become a BEE Netball leader and am one of the coaches at Boost Netball Club in Heathfield.
PE Teacher
I graduated at Brighton University in 2025 after completing my degree in BA Physical Education with QTS. I currently work for Boost delivering Teacher CPD's/ PE provision and extra-curricular sports clubs for primary schools.
My Ethos
I am committed to working with all ages and abilities to improve physical well being. My aim is to meet you where you are and encourage you to move with confidence, whether that be recovering from injury, returning to exercise or training for an event.
I welcome all levels, and strongly believe movement heals both mind and body. My role is to assist you on your journey as you become the master of your own body.
